Visit Farm Torkilsheyggjsgarður located between Runavík and Toftir. The Faroe Islands are named after the sheep that the Viking settlers found when they arrived, and where sheep still far outnumber humans today.
Hear the stories about the Faroese sheep, get some tastes and then go for a walk in the area.
Enjoy coffee/tea and cake near the lake “Toftavatn”. Lake Toftavatn is a freshwater lake in the incredible Faroe Islands. It is located next to the town of Runavík on the island of Eysturoy. With an area of 0.5 square kilometers, it is the fourth largest lake in the Faroe Islands.
The tour ends in the Faroese wool shop Navia, which is owned by the farmer.
