An exclusive private evening event in the famous Fram Museum with TOP level guest-speaker centered around the concept of peace and peacebuilding, bridging the discoveries and peace initiatives of the past with the world we live in today.

This is the experience you won't want to miss!

Get to know the incredible legacy of the outstanding historic figure whose drive behind the significant Arctic discoveries and the will to change the world has the long-lasting and impactful legacy - Fridtjof Nansen, Nobel Peace Prize laureate (1922), Norwegian polar explorer, scientist, diplomat, humanitarian, and the first ever appointed High Commissioner for Refugees.

From the pier, enjoy a peace-prize themed drive passing the Grand Hotel Oslo, University of Oslo and the Nobel Peace Prize Institute, heading to Fram Museum, dedicated to Polar Exploration and housing the original polar ship Fram, once built by Fridtjof Nansen for his historical drifting expedition over the Polar Sea in 1893 – 1896.

Feel the spirit of adventure as you step on board the legendary Fram ship for a welcome speech, passing on your way to the upper deck through the Explorers' Club area where you can take your welcome drink  - a special cocktail with Aquavit (traditional Norwegian spirit) served in mugs - copies of the mugs the Amundsen's crew used during the South Pole expedition. On the deck of the ship some finger food will be served based on traditional Norwegian ingredients.

The museum guide will make a short presentation of the museum followed with amazing polar landscapes, northern lights and - storm simulation (!) projected on the walls around Fram. You can also experience the ship inside.

Continue your exciting tour taking an underground tunnel to the Gjøa building, housing the first vessel to navigate the Northwest Passage in 1903 -1906.

The onsite cinema in Gjøa building makes the perfect venue for the outstanding 30-min lecture on 'The Will to Change the World' theme to be delivered by the TOP level guest-speaker (to be announced closer to the event).

After the lecture and Q&A, you are invited to the cocktail hour with drinks and snacks round the Gjøa (buffet style) to celebrate your Norway discovery and cheer r peace to prevail on earth!

At the end of the special evening, a shorter transfer drive will take you back to the pier.
