See the Pilgrim Fathers’ Monument that commemorates their departure from Southampton to America on 15 August 1620 aboard the Mayflower. You will also visit the Tudor House to sample life in those times and taste typically Tudor beer in the oldest pub in the city.
Within the walls of the old city, you can also try bread and cheeses made from ancient recipes.
