Your day in Kotor begins with a guided walk through the historic center of Kotor. You will see the Gate, the Main Square, the Clock Tower, the Family Palace, the Church of St. Luka and visit the Church of St. Nicholas to learn more about its architecture and historical heritage. Your local guide will tell you stories and peculiarities of life in the Old Town of Kotor, known for its medieval charm. You are welcome to ask questions about local life for insights and personal experiences.
Continue with a drive up into the mountains for a photo stop at the observation platform with panoramic views of the Bay of Kotor. Continue on to the village of Njegusi. Here you will visit a local restaurant owned by the family that has been producing traditional cheese and prosciutto (ham) for many years. The host will welcome you warmly and show you the process of smoking or cheese making and invite you to a traditional lunch with a glass of local wine or beer.
The next destination is the former royal town of Cetinje, which you will reach after a half-hour drive along a mountainous road. Take a walk through the historic city center. Visit the King Nikola Museum, the Cetinje Monastery and the Billiard Palace, the former residence of Montenegrin ruler Petro II Petrovich Njegos
Your exploration of Montenegro will be topped off with a private classical music concert at the local Academy of Music, located in the building of the former United Kingdom Embassy in Montenegro. Enjoy local and famous compositions during a private recital sipping refreshing sparkling wine from one of the Balkan countries. After the concert, mingle with the musicians and learn more about cultural life in the country's former capital. Take a photo together before returning to your comfortable vehicle
