During the tour travelers learn about the roles of the movie sites in real life, process on the movie shooting and some history of Tallinn in general. The tour is done by the guide personally participating in the shooting process, being near to Christopher Nolan. Lots of info for the tour was collected from the local people participating in mass scenes or just watching the shooting process from their windows.

The tour will take you to the filming locations of Christopher Nolan's Tenet, the biggest Hollywood film ever shot in Estonia. The tour will immerse you in the atmosphere of the movie. You can walk around the most famous locations, recreate the atmosphere of the movie and put yourself in the shoes of the movie characters. On the way you can catch the beautiful views of Tallinn and look around the city.

During the tour travelers learn about the roles of the movie sites in real life, process on the movie shooting and some history of Tallinn in general.

Your experience begins with a specially arranged interior tour of Tallinn City Hall, part of a complex of buildings built for the 1980 Moscow Olympics sailing regatta XXII in Tallinn. The building was designed in 1976 by Raine Karp together with Riina Altmäe and Ülo Sirp. It is one of the most outstanding examples of Estonian architecture from the Soviet era in Tallinn. In the summer of 2019, extensive filming for a major Hollywood production took place in Tallinn for the first time, when Christopher Nolan's Tenet was shot in various parts of the city. One of the most unique and interesting locations chosen for a scene in Tallinn was Tallinn City Hall, which played the role of the Kyiv Opera House in the film. The building fascinated the filmmakers mainly because of its monumental appearance.

Next, proceed to Kumu Art Museum and explore it (Sator headquarters) from outside.

The tour continues along Laagna, a busy highway that connects the city center with Lasnamaegi, a former Soviet microdistrict built mainly in the 1970s and 1980s. For Tenet, almost the entire road was closed to traffic to film the epic time-bending car chase, which featured many locals as stunt drivers. Enjoy a photo stop on the bridge over Laagna tee.

Then drive to the Maarjamae Monument (designed by architect A. Murdmaa and sculptor M. Varik), which stands on Pirita Street between Lasnamae Plateau and Tallinn Bay. It was erected in honor of those who died defending the Soviet Union. The memorial consists of both architectural and landscape elements. In the center stands a 35-meter-high obelisk, but the complex also includes the graves of the crews of the minesweepers Avtroil and Spartak, dolomite-lined walls, grassy slopes, the paths between them, and a bronze sculpture of a flock of birds.

After the photo stop at Maarjamae Monument you will embark the minibus and drive to the port.

Please note: Linnahall (concert hall) and Maarjamagi Soviet time memorial both will be demolished within several years so, may be the last chance to see them.
